Shannon has worked in glassblowing for roughly 3 years. After taking a few classes at Texas Tech University, she fell in love with the art. Shortly after graduating college, Shannon was hired as a teaching assistant at Dallas Glass art, working there for almost 1 year.

In 2018 she moved to Seattle to pursue the art of glass by working full time at The Glass Eye Studio in the Fremont/Ballard area. Through this studio Shannon has continued to grow and learn from incredible glass artists like Martin Blank, Chris Steffens, and Paul Desomma. As she continues to learn and grow her skills, It will be an adventure to see how painting and glassblowing could intertwine.

The following images are pieces Shannon created in her first two glass blowing classes. To view more updated images of the work she does today, visit The Glass Eye Studio website to view their line of products.
